bubbles and sensors
Dispatched gunnery to combat loss of gravity!
Bubbles & Sensors is a science fiction worldbuilding project being told through the lenses of unreliable narrators instead of universe renowned scientists and grand military admirals.
If you like The Expanse, you might like Bubbles and Sensors. Maybe you won't.
I like some parts of soft sci-fi. I like some parts of hard sci-fi. Both have their flaws. Bubbles & Sensors is my amalgam of both, call it over-medium sci-fi.
What should I start with?
My personal recommendation of individual pieces I've written are:
Orbital Combat Report tells the story of a captain who engages what a space "dogfight"/joust would be like.
Preface manages to summarize much of the B&S universe leading up to Ethylynia in a single page. Very brief, as it's an introduction to Ethylynia, and is far from the truth.
Full list of books
Ethylynia (2022-now): What first started the B&S universe. Viewed in the lens of a crew and follows what would be traditional storywriting. Takes place during HiS.
Hell In Space (2022-now): Unreliable narrator writing style during the rapid expanse of the bubbles. There is no stopping the expansion. or is there?
Tales From a Bygone Era (2022-now): Unreliable narrator writing style before the expansion of the bubbles. Written in the style of competing research papers, misinforming newspapers, leaked private emails, and lots of paperwork.
Archives (2022-2023): Non-canon archives of what B&S used to be.
